Rob Hubscher – Job Supervisor
Rob is third generation construction management, with 20 years of field experience. He is following a family tradition. His grandfather, Robert L Hubscher was president of Hubscher, Dieterich and Coleman Inc. and was inspector of construction in 1931 to help build the Supreme Court building, Annex Library of Congress, House of Representatives and the Botanical Conservatory in the new wing of the Senate Building in Washington D.C. His father Robert Mack Hubscher, was president of a general commercial contracting company (Hubscher Construction). He specialized in large commercial offices, churches and condominiums in and around Ocean City, Bethany Beach as well as the Washington D.C. area. Rob grew up in the construction industry. Over the last twelve years Rob worked his way up through the ranks to become our project manager. He has hands on experience from start to finish of all aspects of the building process and has always been a team leader. Rob is an on the job perfectionist in every facet of custom home building and residential remodeling projects.
William T. Pritchett (Bill) - Company V.P. and Treasurer
A University of Delaware graduate, Bill joined BMD/B in 2001. He has over 36 years in the construction industry including 10 years in actual "hands on" building. He has also worked extensively in building materials performing such diverse tasks as sales management, building and operating a millwork assembly plant for a large home center chain, and full computerization of a regional millwork dealer with enterprise software. Bill is in charge of day to day operations at BMD/B, Inc.
Dave Magee - CAD Draftsman
Dave Graduated from Sussex Central High School in 1985. While there, he took several drafting classes and began to learn the basics of drawing by hand. In 1987, he graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College with an Associates degree in Architectural Engineering and Design. As a result, he was exposed to Computer Aided Design and began learning many aspects of computers and CAD drafting .In 1988, he joined a design/build firm and began working with Autocad. He worked there for fifteen years. In November of 2003, Dave began working at Bruce Mears Designer/Builder. His day to day duties include design and drafting work, securing subcontractors bids, ordering materials and preparing estimates and bids.
Kimberley Harjo (Kim) – Bookkeeper
Born in Oklahoma and graduated from Union High School in Tulsa Oklahoma. Kim then moved to Delaware in October 1988. She worked as a computer technician installing accounting software and training individuals on use of the programs. She worked as a bookkeeper for various small companies while attending Delaware Technical Community College part time from 1996 until 1998 earning a diploma in Accounting Studies. Kim started working for Bruce Mears Designer/Builder in November 1998 and set up Quickbooks accounting software and tailored the program for the company. Her duties include answering all incoming calls, typing all general correspondence and managing all accounts payable, accounts receivables and weekly payroll. She also works with the customers providing them with a spreadsheet that tracks costs related to their projects when the house is completed.

While building here on the Delmarva Peninsula, Bruce Mears has worked closely with the Army Corp of Engineers and DNREC to ensure the utmost care for local ordnances and respect to the environment.
