Quality - Bruce Mears Designer/Builder

Celebrating Thirty Years of Excellence

Our sense of commitment to quality is evidenced by our full-time staff and by our hand-picked team of craftsmen, many of whom have been with us for years. When you take a look at our custom homes, you will see the quality craftsmanship and the pride in our construction, and you will understand what sets us apart from the others.

Quality begins with our construction team led by:

Rob Hubscher – Job Supervisor
Rob is third generation construction management, with 20 years of field experience. He is following a family tradition. His grandfather, Robert L Hubscher was president of Hubscher, Dieterich and Coleman Inc. and was inspector of construction in 1931 to help build the Supreme Court building, Annex Library of Congress, House of Representatives and the Botanical Conservatory in the new wing of the Senate Building in Washington D.C. His father Robert Mack Hubscher, was president of a general commercial contracting company (Hubscher Construction). He specialized in large commercial offices, churches and condominiums in and around Ocean City, Bethany Beach as well as the Washington D.C. area. Rob grew up in the construction industry. Over the last twelve years Rob worked his way up through the ranks to become our project manager. He has hands on experience from start to finish of all aspects of the building process and has always been a team leader. Rob is an on the job perfectionist in every facet of custom home building and residential remodeling projects.

Quality continues by building your home with superior quality building materials that are proven favorable for the coastal climate. This assures a final product that is low maintenance and of enduring quality.

While building here on the Delmarva Peninsula, Bruce Mears has worked closely with the Army Corp of Engineers and DNREC to ensure the utmost care for local ordnances and respect to the environment.
